Ebrahim Ghaderpour, Ph.d.

Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Remote Sensing for Engineering Geology in the Department of Earth Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. I am also the Founder and CEO of Earth & Space Inc, Canada, a company specializing in geodesy, Earth observation, AI, climate analytics, and geohazard monitoring.

I obtained my first PhD degree in Theoretical and Computational Science from the University of Lethbridge, Canada, in 2013, and my second PhD degree in Geomatics Engineering from York University, Canada, in 2018.

My research and professional activities integrate geodesy, GNSS, remote sensing, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, optimization, and time series analysis. I am particularly interested in developing novel methodologies for analyzing multi-temporal geospatial data and applying them to climate, environmental, and natural hazard studies.

I have authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and developed several open-source software packages for geospatial and time series analysis. My h-index is currently 37 according to Google Scholar

I have been listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier (2022–2025)
